Air Jordan 1 Retro High Color: Wolf Grey / Spice – White

Puma partners with The Fuse Project to redesign it’s packaging, taking an environment friendly approach.

The Fuse Project explains:

By providing structure to a cardboard sheet, the bag uses 65% less cardboard than the standard shoe box, has no laminated printing, no tissue paper, takes up less space and weighs less in shipping, and replaces the plastic retail bag.

The cardboard structure is die cut from one flat piece of material and has no additional printing or assembly, thus it can be returned to the stream faster and more efficiently. The structure was created with four walls that taper in to allow for secured stacking, another important element left over from the original shoebox.

The bag is non-woven which means less work and waste (it is stitched with heat). It protects the shoes from dust and dirt in the warehouse and during shipping. The “clever little bag” is an iconic brand element upon leaving the store as it replaces the plastic shopping bag, and it is also used for shoe storage in travel suitcases. The bag is made of non-woven polyester consisting of recycled PET, and eventually is also recyclable.

Originally released in 1975 as a lightweight all-rounder designed for tennis, squash and handball, the Nike All Court returns after a recent A.P.C. collaboration with this crispy clean Quickstrike release. The rich blue canvas upper looks fresh on top of the pure white mid-sole, with the smooth toecap giving it an extra kick.

Nike Blazer Mid Belt QS – The images give you a good sense for just how high quality the leather on these joints really are. They look to be both supple and strong, complete with a strong luster. Fitting, then, to add an aluminum buckle with a pearly finish rather than going the silver or gold route.

Nike All Court Low Quickstrikes – Nike All Court Leather Low

The Nike All Court made its debut in 1975 as a shoe fit for any sport played on a court. Its clean lines and timeless construction have cemented the shoe as a classic. This particular release gets the suede treatment. The Nike All Court Low features a suede upper and rubberized toe-cap on a white mid-sole making for a great summer shoe.

The new Nike Aina Chukka is the natural progression from the Zoom Toki Mid, itself a child born of Blazers and Sabakus. Aina is the next step, with minimal branding and a look that exemplifies the lifestyle sneaker movement. The pair pictured above is quite the solid debut, its putty grey suede upper providing the perfect neutral punctuation for your best fits.

Inspired by the Nike Blazer and the Nike Sabaku, the Nike Air Toki has been one of the most well received new models from Nike. This chukka-esque sneaker sports a laid back style and has been released in numerous materials, including suede, LUX leather and canvas. The Nike Air Toki looks great with shorts and pants. Plus, they are versatile enough to fit almost any occasion.

Here is a look at the new Spizike in black now available at loop.
The usual side netting that came from the Jordan 5 was replaced with the mesh from the Jordan 4. Also, the “Spike” print that hit the toe cap and back of the sneaker has been replaced with a more familiar elephant print. To finish off the cosmetic transformation, Jordan Brand speckled part of the midsole and the “wings”.

Dare we ask if these are the best Spizikes to date?

It’s been our great pleasure to bring you some of the most exciting products and events the sneaker market has had to offer over the last 10 years of business. Over time we’ve seen many faces pass through our doors, and made great friends along the way. We broke ground for Canada’s retail landscape, and paved the way for those that followed. Yet, nothing lasts forever and it has come time to close.

We’ve seen our market change significantly over the last few years. And, as it has changed direction, so too have we. Thus the decision to close Goodfoot and shift our focus onto new opportunities has been made. There are many exciting projects to come in our future, and we hope that everyone who supported us at Goodfoot will continue to support us in the growth and evolution of our exciting endeavors to come.
