Jordan Flight 23 Classic

While its name might not be very indicative of its heritage within the Jordan Brand line, the new Jordan Flight 23 Classic is indeed a sequel of sorts, serving as a lowtop version of the Jordan 1 Flight. With that being said don’t expect this sneaker to stand in any shadows, as it’s coming out of the gate strong featuring smooth suede uppers.

Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ Now Ready for Pre-Order

Over the past couple of years, the Jordan Brand has truly been pulling out all of the goodies from their vault and 2012 will be no exception. In addition to all of the 2012 releases that we have seen so far, the Jordan Brand is set to bring back the “Playoffs” Air Jordan Retro XII.

The “Playoffs” Air Jordan Retro XII returns in a very true to the OG look with its Black textured leather and White pebbled leather upper and Red accents on the tongue and heel branding. Originally released in 1997 and then again in 2004, the classic kicks come in a Black/Varsity Red-White colorway with a high-top silhouette inspired by both the Japanese rising sun and 19th century dress boots.

The shoe will release officially on April 21, 2012 but you can pre-order a pair now @ LOOP before the drop.

Nike Rosh Run

NSW just introduced a new model called the Nike Rosh Run, which uses a very basic design with comfort and styling in mind. The Nike Roshe Run starts out with a fundamental Black and White colorway, and the upper consists of a elastic mesh material sat atop a lightweight and resilient foam cushion. Most distinctly reminiscent of the Nike Flow and Presto of previous years.

Ewing Athletics – Launch Summer 2012

Similar to that of Michael Jordan’s, the basketball career of Patrick Ewing is something most would be envious about. Plucked as the #1 Draft Pick of 1984 from Georgetown, where he was a NCAA Champion, Ewing went on to lead the New York Knicks for 15 years till his trade to Seattle SuperSonics in 2000. Along the way,
Ewing won the NBA Rookie of the Year title, a 2-time member of the “Dream Team”, went onto 11 NBA All-Star Games, and became the most visible Knicks player for more than a decade. To honor such storied career, Ewing Athletics, his very own signature footwear label, is set for a relaunch this summer. The brand first came onto the scene at the height of Ewing’s career in the early 1990s. Though the sneakers were virtually indistinguishable from the Delta Force of an earlier era, its bold letterings and oversized tongue became something of a trend statement among New York City students. The label, which has since closed, hopes to capitalize on the fans’ new found interest with the current fervor surrounding the Knicks after a decade of decline. Most importantly, it wants to share with them the story of one of the team’s most celebrated player. Look for Ewing Athletics products to release later this summer.

Manny Pacquiao may look to move over to Jordan Brand

Manny Pacquiao is reportedly interested in making the move from Nike to Jordan Brand based on the brand’s image and popularity among his fans. The possible pairing has huge marketing potential, bringing together two of the biggest athletes in their respective sports and hemispheres. With basketball considered being the national sport next to boxing in the Philippines, this deal could take the Jordan brand to a whole new level.

Nike Hachi Textile

Nike Hachi aim for more uniform looks, with the black nubuck and the gum leather sole pairs sticking to a pretty slim set of materials on the uppers. Looks like as the spring time rolls around this little bee (Hachi is Japanese for ‘bee’) is due for some cross-pollination, picking up a wider set of looks on the new Nike Hachi Textile. There’s ripstop nylon, suede sections, even some leather hits around the back end that together work with the white soles to lighten up the look a little bit. Pop through to take a look in person.

The Cobern returns as part of the Spring ‘12 OTW line from Vans, in two new make ups including the dress blue leather and cinnamon satin suede options shown here.

This boat shoe was upgraded by Vans, especially when you get a look at the sneaker-inspired white midsole and heel logo. The Cobern also features moc toe detailing, pig leather lining and uppers made of premium leather or suede. These shoes are topped off with leather laces that are threaded through brass eyelets.
