The EarClick Construction is a patent that ingeniously secures the earphone into position in your ear. The Earclick construction makes use of the bottom of the ear, much like the standard construction, and adds an upward hook securing the earpiece. Just arrived @ loop are a serious collection of CROOKS & CASTLES New Era Snapbacks for 2012. Crooks continues to bring it this Spring season with the very popular Air Gun Logo, the “C” chain logo, and the staple core logo collection. Plus also adding a toned down chambray cap with a metal plate front and a bold “CRKS” cap that has a slogan on the back that says it all. Vans OTW collection is back with a vengeance. Launched back in 2010 this collection is like no other Vans has ever done. Steering the collection is a crew of advocates made of artists, designers and culture icons. Vans introduces the 2012 OTW advocates Lupe Fiasco and Chris Kong. The two join Eric Elms and Dimitri Coste as creative forces collaborating with OTW designers.

The line boasts a number of clean, detailed silhouettes in premium leathers and suede’s, including: the Alomar, a high-top style that draws from Vans classic Chukka; the Bedford, a mid that combines Vans’ heritage with modern, and the Stovepipe slimmed down mid-top with a hidden gillie lacing system.

Along with core line is also the Limited Edition NATIVE AMERICAN Pack – constructed out of the silhouette of the Bedford and Alomar. These models are made in premium leather, hand washed canvas, antique eyelets and distressed printed canvas.

Jordan Brand continues to come with some great releases in 2012. One we are really excited to see get released this year @ LOOP are the Air Jordan Retro IV “Cement”. This shoe will be a first come first serve drop, so be here early Saturday Feb 18th to avoid disappointment.

History

The Air Jordan 4 took the world by storm in 1989. Along with a career season came a career sneaker.

Tinker Hatfield once again designed this shoe. The Air Jordan 4 featured many new design concepts. First, the straps on the side for increased ankle support. It was nearly impossible for MJ to roll his ankle in these shoes.

The Air Jordan 4 again featured the air sole heel for added cushioning and a full length mid sole. In the White/Black-Cement, the shoe featured a unique texturing nicknamed “Cookies & Cream” for its striking resemblance. The Air Jordan 4 was another masterpiece to the Jordan lineup.

Nike continued the Jordan 4 commercials with Mars Blackmon (Spike Lee) and created the famous Can/Can’t TV commercial. Spike Lee really liked these shoes personally and gave them some extra promotion in his movie “Do The Right Thing”.

Here is a classic scene from “Do The Right Thing” when the character Buggin’ Out (Giancarlo Esposito) gets his brand new AJ IV’s scuffed by a bicycle rider and flips out about it, places his shoe upon a fire-hydrant and cleans it with a toothbrush.

The Air Jordan 3 isn’t the only notable release with a true blue colorway. The Nike Air Flight ’89 is back for the spring of 2012. The popular 1989-basketball-inspired shoe in it’s classic form of retro styling, Air Flight badging and the ever so familiar, Air Jordan IV midsole. Taking back 1989 with a modern twist.

These dynamic shoes were worn but some of the greats from the court like Gary Payton and Ron Harper.

We are extremely excited to now start carrying the Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Brand. A brand we have seen become the leader in vintage and throwback sports team apparel.

Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co., is a sports apparel company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mitchell & Ness was established in 1904, and is the oldest sporting goods company in Philadelphia. By license agreements with Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, and the Collegiate Licensing Company they are makers of authentic vintage sports jerseys, jackets, hats, and wool-felt historic pennants.

Growing up as a kid on the east coast watching the Pistons, Knicks and Raptors I have to admit I’m not the ultimate Kobe fan but this new Nike ad is brilliant. The Black Mamba has probably some of the best Nike Basketball ads since the days of Jordan.

This latest spot sings the praises of the KobeSystem and its ability to help the successful find even more success. Aziz Ansari and Paul Rodriguez aren’t the only ones on the KobeSystem – just about everyone else who matters appears to be under the influence of the Black Mamba as well. From sports stars like Jerry Rice and Landon Donovan to media mogul Richard Branson and even Kanye West.

The Jordan RCVR translates as the Jordan Receiver.

Jordan Brand outfitted freakishly athletic soon-to-be Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss for the first half of his NFL career, but aside from that magical 2007 season in New England, you could fairly convincingly aruge that his cut from JB’s roster was as shrewd a move as anything from Bill Belichick.

The Jumpman switched focus to other gridiron stars like Jason Taylor and Dwight Freeney, and have found a bonafide star replacement for Moss in recent years thanks to the upward flight of Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson and Michael Crabtree of the San Francisco 49ers. History

The Samba has been among Adidas’ most popular, best selling shoes in recent times, the second best sold Adidas shoe ever with over 35 million sold pairs worldwide. It is produced in a variety of color schemes, yet the classic black with three white stripes is the most popular. The shoe features a tan gumsole that distinguishes it from other Adidas shoes.

The shoe was first produced in 1950 to enable association football players to train on icy hard ground (hence the suction on the gumsole). Its original design featured the classic three stripes, as well as the gold trefoil on the foldable tongue. As years progressed, the Samba evolved into the Samba Millennium (which was made without the extended tongue) and the Samba ’85. Classic models of the shoe are still in production, under the name Classic M. the original model is sometimes used for training, street play, and futsal.

There are times in life when the blank notebook page stays blank for far too long—even the most productive people occasionally get stuck. For moments like these there’s Unstuck, a recently released iPad app to help you work through the situation at hand. Acting as a step-by-step troubleshooter and catalyst for action, Unstuck walks the user through a series of questions that end in a diagnosis, complete with suggestions of thought-provoking tools to help find a solution, as shown in this cleverly animated intro video.

The user-friendly app features a clutter-free layout with eye-catching infographic-style illustrations and easy-to-read instructions designed to get your mental gears moving again. As you work through the series of fill-in-the-blank questions Unstuck uses an algorithm—combined with your answers—to offer a diagnosis of what’s likely to be going on. From here the user is given a series of tools to help themselves work through the situation. Check out this demo for a closer look.

Most importantly though, Unstuck delivers a different diagnosis each time to account for the user’s ever-evolving situation. This adjustment mimics real life in the sense that no situation is ever stagnant and the reasons behind it generally change over time. And thus Unstuck becomes a tool that can be used time and time again.

To make the app accessible to as many people as possible it’s been made available for free download through the App Store’s Lifestyle section. Once Unstucks’ subscriptions build more community-based aspects will be rolled out.
