Just when you think you’ve seen it all before, along comes a nifty new idea that has you eating your words like alphabet spaghetti on toast. Introducing U-Lace, coming this Spring to LOOP. U-Lace is an ingeniously simple new lacing system that makes complicated lace-ups a thing of the past!

U-Lace is basically a series of elasticised strips that are capped with hard plastic tips that tuck into your eyelets to fix the shoe to your feet. Just poke one tip in a hole and stretch it out before dunking it into another hole to complete the deal. It’s super easy-peasey and makes light work of complicated lace algorithms.

Each handy pack contains 16 different U-Lace segments and some even contain a mix of colours that are ready for triple dipping, so you don’t need to be Good Will Hunting to work out that the potential variety of lace jobs you can create with them is mathematically infinite!These things are so damn simple to use, it’s a snap. KITCHENER – New York rapper and G Unit member Lloyd Banks and his three-man crew were arrested and charged with forcible confinement, aggravated assault and robbery after a music promoter was allegedly held against his will, robbed and beaten in a Kitchener hotel early Saturday.

Sgt. Brad Finucan of Waterloo Regional Police Criminal Investigations branch said an alleged violent altercation ensued between G Unit’s Lloyd Banks, his three associates and a music promoter at a concert at a night club in Brantford Friday night.

Lloyd Banks’ real name is Christopher Lloyd.. The 27-year-old rapper, along with his associates, is from the Queen’s area of New York City. G Unit Lloyd Banks has been to Canada many times for concerts, Finucan said.

Finucan said there was a dispute over a performance and appearance fee charged the rappers at Club NV in Brantford. The fight started at the club and continued at the Kitchener hotel early Saturday.

Police were called by another booking agent.

Finucan said the victim, a 36-year-old Toronto man, was punched, kicked, robbed and held for an hour in the hotel room. He was treated for head and facial injuries and released from Grand River Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The four men were held in custody over the weekend and appeared in court by video on Sunday. They were to appear in bail court again Monday morning.

Charged are Christopher Lloyd, Tyrell Cooper, 24, Nicklas Sloane, 25, and Shaun McGee, 31.

Right before his tragic death, news came out that DJ AM had been working with Nike on a Dunk sneaker collection. Today we can show you some detailed images of one of them. The Nike Dunk High Premium Quickstrike “DJ AM” comes in a black/red colorway with reflective 3M accents. The red comes in regular premium leather and the black comes in patent leather. The Swoosh is light grey. The heel features a perforation that can be removed to reveal reflective 3M. The tongue of the sneaker is decorated with a DJ AM logo tag.
